1970年代のSONY製ラジオTR-1825 をWebラジオが聴けるようにリマスターしました。古いAMラジオはアンテナがない分、自由なデザインのものが多くあります。なかでも目を見張るのはSONYのTR-1825。
1970年製とは思えない意匠と機能性で、当時のグッドデザイン賞も受賞しています。
しかし、AM放送は2028年秋までに完全停波となります。これは即ち、素晴らしいデザインを持ったAMラジオたちが、近い将来利用できなくなってしまうことを意味します。
そこで本プロジェクトでは、TR-1825でこれからも放送を聴き続けられるようWebラジオのプレイヤーとしてリマスターしました。
システム構成
ラジオ本体から既存の回路を取り除き、マイコン（M5StampPico）とI2S接続のD級アンプモジュールを内蔵しました。
局選択と音量調整用のフェーダーは、既存のフェーダー用の機構を取り外してスライドボリュームに置き換え、3Dプリンターで作成したフレームで固定しています。
電源は本体に備え付けれられていた電池ボックス（単三3本）を活用し、降圧コンバータを介してマイコンへ3.3Vを供給しています。マイコンでRadikoのストリーミング配信を受信し、D級アンプを通じて本体のスピーカーから音声を出力する仕組みです。受信にはWebRadio_Japanというライブラリを使用しています。

Old AM radios are notable for their design freedom, as they do not require external antennas. Among these, the SONY TR-1825 stands out as particularly remarkable. Its sophisticated silhouette and innovative power mechanism, which activates by opening and closing the case, earned it the Good Design Award in 1970, highlighting its extraordinary design for that time.
However, AM broadcasting is scheduled to be permanently discontinued by autumn 2028, which means designed AM radios, including the TR-1825, will soon become functionally obsolete. To keep the TR-1825 alive as a functional radio player, our project has transformed it into a web radio player, preserving the essence of its distinctive design while maintaining functionality.
